My name is Kenzie, and I’m the owner of PNW K9 Adventures, based in Everett, Wa. I officially launched my business in January 2025, but my journey with animals began before that.

Before becoming a professional dog trainer, I spent 3 years working in veterinary medicine and another 3 years in the pet industry, building a strong foundation in animal health and care. I was also deeply involved in 4-H, where I worked with llamas, guinea pigs, and cats, building a foundation of responsibility and animal handling skills.

Animals have been part of my life since I could walk. These early experiences taught me responsibility, patience, and the joy of working closely with animals of all kinds.

I chose dog training because I believe in the importance of building strong, lasting relationships between owners and dogs. Here, I help owners not only train their dogs but learn how to connect with them on a deeper level so you can thrive together.

Ranger has been part of my family since 2022, when he came home from Vancouver, WA at just 9 weeks old. From the very beginning, his playful spirit and eagerness to learn set him apart.

Today, Ranger is my trusted demo dog, helping showcase training techniques and giving clients confidence in the process. He thrives in just about all settings, loves agility practice, and never says no to a game of fetch with his ball.

When it comes to rewards, Ranger’s favorite treat is chicken hearts—the perfect motivation for his sharp focus and boundless energy. Beyond his skills, he’s known for his upbeat personality, adaptability, and enthusiasm for every new challenge.

Oakley came home with me at just 8 weeks old after meeting her at the vet clinic where she and her siblings were brought in. After connecting with the breeder and a few more visits, Oakley officially came home—a fluffy little ball of energy and love.

From the start, she showed me how determined and stubborn some dogs can be, sass and attitude made it a challenge at times, but also a reward. She’s taught me that patience, consistency, and creativity are key when working with her.

Oakley loves going on adventures, practicing training, and playing with her ball. Training sessions often are where she gets to burn energy, build confidence, and strengthen her bond with me. And when the work is done, she’s quick to snuggle up and shower everyone with kisses.

Oakley is the perfect example of how training isn’t just about commands—it’s about building trust and creating a balanced and happy dog.

Achilles is my new PSA/PPD prospect! I got him from Klamath Falls OR a breeder in December, he is a Belgian Malinois and Dutch Shepherd cross, both his mom and dad excel and are proven in both PSA and PPD.
